2010 ACLS INFORMATION:


COURSE - ACLS 1 DAY
FEE: $130
CLASS TIME: 0900-1700


DESCRIPTION:

1.)Experienced ALS health care provider who is comfortable with cardiac information, working in ED, any Intensive/Critical Care Unit, Paramedicine or has had the course several times.

2.)There is a rapid 3 hour lecture review, including new information, review of the pretest, skill/oral testing stations and final written evaluation.


COMMENT - You must have a current ACLS card, per AHA rules – IF YOU DO NOT: you may challenge this course but cannot fail any portion – which will require taking a 2 day course.

- You may renew your BLS at this time, if requested, for an additional $10 fee.


COURSE - ACLS 2 DAY
FEE: $160
CLASS TIME: Day 1 0900-1700 & Day 2 0900-1400

DESCRIPTION:

1.)This course is designed for any healthcare provider who is not proficient in   cardiac situations, does not work in a high risk area, is taking ACLS for the first time, or has allowed their card to expire.

2.)This course has 5 hours of lecture time covering rhythm recognition, pharmacology, AMI, CVA, toxicology, 3 hours of skills practice, and an additional 4 hours of review of the pretest, skill/oral testing stations and final written evaluation.


COMMENT - You may renew your BLS at this time, if requested, for an additional $10 fee.
